The Half-Blood Prince will be the first Harry Potter movie that I’ll see having already read the book. I’m actually more excited because of it even though I ultimately know the outcome. I hope they manage to stay true to the novel.

I am expecting this to be one of my favourite cinematic experiences so far this year that don’t include excessive lens flares. Seriously - Star Trek (JJ Abrams) and Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen (Michael Bay) were great, but they need to tone down those lens flares!

Update: In case you don’t know what I mean by lens flare, note the photo below. See how its hard to see anything because the lights are in your eyes? Yep - lens flare. Apparently JJ Abrams himself agrees that they are ridiculous!
